Our 8 Frame Deep Supers from West Alabama Bee Company are built for strength, long-term durability, and dependable performance in Alabama and Southeastern beekeeping conditions. Handcrafted by Amish craftsmen in southern Tennessee, each super is made from solid cypress, a wood naturally resistant to moisture and decay.
Deep supers are commonly used as brood chambers and for colony expansion and can be paired with 8 Frame Medium Supers for honey production. These boxes are precision-built to fit standard 8 frame Langstroth equipment, allowing easy integration with other hive components.
Cypress construction makes these deep supers especially well suited for the heat and humidity of the South, providing a durable hive body designed for years of beekeeping use.
